The Alberta Distance Learning Centre (ADLC) and the Job Safety Skills Society (JSSS) are pleased to announce a formal partnership that will benefit the academic growth of students in Alberta as well as keep them safe as they begin their working lives.
JSSS and ADLC have agreed to combine resources and talent to produce online learning resources that will meet the mandate of both organizations.
Through this agreement, ALDC will design and deliver three courses, HCS 3000, HCS 3010 and AGR 3000, based on the resources developed by JSSS. These courses will be available to all Alberta students through ADLC and its many partner schools. Students who successfully complete these courses and pass the summative evaluation approved by the JSSS will qualify for Level 1 or Level 2 Job Safety Certification by the JSSS.
The JSSS and ADLC look forward to a long and productive partnership.
